Letterer Tom Orzechowski, later known for his work on Marvel?s X-Men titles, provided a humorous cartoon in one of his ads poking fun at the quality of lettering in TBG‘s ads.


Michael Fleisher asked TBG readers for help in finding comic books for use in his upcoming book, The First Encyclopedia of the Great Comic Book Heroes.

So where are Don and Maggie Thompson? Not in TBG yet, but this issue does advertise Don?s book with Dick Lupoff, All in Color for a Dime.
