This issue featured the first ad from a Canadian comics fanzine, Le Beaver, which, perhaps not by coincidence, turned up as the name and motif of a villain threatening Howard the Duck in the latter?s title three years hence.
Dan Gheno contributed a reminiscence of an evening with Carl Barks, who said that fan requests for paintings had gotten so frequent that ?he?d be painting well into 1976.?
TBG
?s circulation topped 6,000 with this issue.
