In 1975, The Buyer’s Guide for Comics Fandom began 29 years of weekly issues ? not without a few hitches, with issue dates duplicated and even reversing at one point! But more issues meant more covers, including one by Frank Thorne that he later said helped get him the gig drawing Red Sonja for Marvel! Plus there was the first reference, in issue #97, to something called “The Star Wars”…
