100 Baddest Motherf&#!ers (ISBN: 978-144023050-9) doesn’t entirely focus on bad guys, but the bad asses, the tough guys, and the guys you don’t want to make mad. Covering hardbitten heroes to vile villains, you’ll want to see how your picks compare to ours.

The 64-page book is full color throughout, with at least one large image devoted to every entry and retails for $8.99. You can get a copy through your local retailer or directly from us. Here’s  a preview of what’s inside. If these guys ended up at these ranks, who came out on top and where did your favorite place? Buy the book and find out!

It’s good to see you have filled the void Wizard magazine left with this and your other new publication, 100 Sexiest Women in Comics.

I thought of your publication as higher quality, but these are a step down.

I stopped subscribing a while back and have thought of starting again, but these have shown me that there is nothing of entertainment value in these publications. These are representations of sellout.

I’m sorry that you feel that way, but it’s hardly fair to judge CBG itself solely on these two publications. Tell you what, send me your name and mailing address and I’ll send you a sample issue so you can see what CBG looks like these days. How’s that sound?

I never thought I’d see the day when Comics Buyer’s Guide would publish a book invoking the “F” word in its title. I know, the average third grader probably hears the word 50,000 times a day at school anyway… I guess I’m just surprised that the family-friendly CBG chose to use it.

  4. Brent Frankenhoff says:

Ah, but Gary, we didn’t actually use the word, just hinted at it.
