The second series of Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming‘s Powers from Marvel’s Icon imprint is starting to resemble its earlier incarnation, at least as far as any regular shipping schedule.
According to this week’s shipping updates from Diamond Comic Distributors, Powers #8, originally solicited to ship in August 2010, is now scheduled to ship Jan. 18, 2012, a full 17 months after its originally solicited shipping date. We began tracking this issue’s shipping date changes back when it was originally scheduled to ship.
The change also affected the other issues that have been solicited to date. Powers #9, originally solicited to ship in April, is now delayed until Feb. 1, 2012, 10 months late. Powers #10, originally scheduled for June release, is delayed until Feb. 29, while #11, which wasn’t yet late with an original shipping date in November, is now delayed until March 21.
