Noted

Jan Berenstain, co-creator of The Berenstain Bears books with her husband Stan, died Monday following a massive stroke last week. She was 88. Stan preceded her in death in 2005. In addition to the long-running series of children’s books, the couple also produced material for grown-ups in their All in the Family series.
