• Jeff Smith has announced a new director and writer for a movie based on Smith’s award-winning Bone series. P.J. Hogan has been tapped to direct, while Greek creator Patrick Sean Smith is writing a new script. Lin Pictures and Animal Logic, the animators behind such films as Happy Feet 2, are producing the animated feature. (Brent Frankenhoff)
