• According to ICv2.com, a judge has issued a temporary restraining order against Archie Co-CEO Nancy Silberkleit barring her from the Archie offices and forbidding any contact with Archie employees. Silberkleit has been in a legal battle with fellow Co-CEO Jonathan Goldwater for the past several months. (Brent Frankenhoff)

• AMC Theatres are offering a free Star Wars toy — a Star Wars Fighter Pod from Hasbro — with the purchase of every ticket opening weekend (Feb. 10-12) for the 3-D re-release of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. In addition, some theaters in the national chain are also hosting special events Feb. 11 with such giveaways as Anakin Skywalker pod racer 3-D goggles, Darth Maul face painting contests, and character appearances.
