• The nominees for the Russ Manning Award for Most Promising Newcomer have been announced. They are: Craig Cermak (Voltron: Year One), Martin Cóccolo (Helldorado), Tyler Crook (Petrograd and B.P.R.D.), Teagan Gavet (Norgard: Across Thin Ice), and Dave Wachter (Night of 1,000 Wolves and That Hellbound Train). The winner will be announced at The Eisner Awards during Comic-Con International: San Diego July 13.
• Paolo Rivera has announced that he’s ending his exclusive contract with Marvel after 10 years.
