• A live-action TV series based on Jean-Claude Forest’s Barbarella is in the works with Nicolas Refn hired as executive producer and director. The graphic novel spawned the 1968 film starring Jane Fonda as the titular heroine and the film was recently released on Blu-ray.
• A Kickstarter campaign for Lea Hernandez’ The Garlicks: Pandora Orange, Fail Vampire has failed to raise the $40,000 needed, ending yesterday with just under $17,000 in pledges.
