• An upcoming reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie franchise has fans in an uproar. First, producer Michael Bay said that the group’s origin would change from irradiated amphibians emerging from the sewers to aliens coming to Earth from outer space. Later, Bay wrote on his blog, after attempting to reassure fans about the change by asking them to wait until the film’s release, that the Paramount marketing department has shortened the film’s title from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to just Ninja Turtles.
