• The Avengers continues to set records. Now it’s the first film to earn over $100 million per weekend for two consecutive weekends, with its second domestic weekend take estimated at $103.2 million. It’s estimated that the movie has earned over $1 billion worldwide.
• By contrast, Dark Shadows earned just $36.7 million in its opening weekend this past weekend.
• Marvel has announced another universe-killing mini-series, this time with Deadpool taking the role previously done by The Punisher, Wolverine, and Fred Hembeck.
