Dynamite Entertainment has announced that its two vampire licenses, Vampirella and Dark Shadows, will cross over later this year.

Image’s Revival series, by Tim Seeley and Mike Norton, features the dead returning to life, but not as zombies, and the series is set in Wausau, Wis., which is also Seeley’s hometown. (Wausau is about an hour from CBG’s offices here in Iola.)

Dark Horse continues its Golden Age Archives series with volumes collecting ACG’s Adventures into the Unknown and Forbidden Worlds as well as Lev Gleason’s Crime Does Not Pay and Silver Streak Comics.

but they were really, “Now I can add Batman’s cowl to my collection of hats!” He said those words on the cover of Detective Comics #230 (Apr 56).

  1. I’m going to guess it’s Phoenix, the original costumed identity of Baron Zemo’s son, the one who went on to form the Thunderbolts.

I better be right. I co-scripted that issue of Captain America with Roy Thomas (who plotted it).

  2. Luigi says:

I was wondering, is Vampirella simply a licensed character or NIck Barrucci (Dynamite Ent.) had bought her from Harris Comics at time? ;) I remember Jim Warren sued Harris for copyright infrangement before and then Harris stopped publishing Vampi, Rook, and other Warren originated characters since then.
