• DC has proclaimed today as “Arrow Day” with a free promotional comic book for its parent company Warner Bros.’ new Arrow series on the CW Network. (See Comics-related Media for more.)
• Mark Waid has been hired as the writer on Dynamite’s Green Hornet series.
• In other Dynamite news, Tom Sniegoski has returned to Vampirella. Previously, he had worked on the character’s adventures at Harris before moving on to other projects. He will write Vampirella Strikes, a new series that’s scheduled to begin in January.
• Today’s the day! As we reported last week, Michael Uslan will receive a doctor of comic books degree from Monmouth University.
