• Director David Fincher, Blur Studios, Dark Horse Comics, and Goon creator Eric Powell have joined forces for a Kickstarter campaign to raise $400,000 to create an “extended story reel,” with Clancy Brown and Paul Giamatti voicing The Goon and his pal Franky, respectively, to show potential producers for an animated Goon film. The campaign runs through Nov. 11. They’re already more than 25% of the way there.
• NPR reporter Susan Stamberg recently covered the Roy Lichtenstein retrospective at Washington, D.C.’s National Gallery of Art. Her coverage is “interesting,” to say the least, but it’s the comments that you should take the time to read.
