Joe Shuster’s heirs have lost another round in their lawsuit against Warner Bros. and DC for the rights to Superman. The Hollywood Reporter has the complete story and ICv2.com has analysis.

• In a follow-up to that decision, Warner Bros. has announced plans for a Justice League movie, scheduled for release in 2015. Avengers 2 is also scheduled for release in 2015, with a date of May 1 to tie in with Free Comic Book Day.

IDW has announced plans for a massive Mars Attacks crossover with its other licensed properties. The Mars Attacks characters will, well, attack, Popeye, Miss Fury, Opus, Kiss, Judge Dredd, The Starslammers, The Real Ghostbusters, Madman, Chew, Transformers, Strangers in Paradise, Spike, Zombies vs. Robots, Rog-2000, and Cerebus.
