Russ Cochran has launched the latest in his series of original art auctions. The sale closes Thursday, Aug. 2, and has 165 lots, including a number of Frank King Gasoline Alley originals, three Wizard of Id originals (a daily and two Sundays), nearly two dozen Dick Tracy originals by Chester Gould, Marie Severin’s coloring guides for Cochran’s E.C. Library reprints, and more.

• With about four weeks to go, Top Cow’s CyberForce Kickstarter campaign, designed to relaunch the series with free copies of the first five issues, is already more than 1/3 of the way to its $75,000 goal.

• Speaking of Kickstarter campaigns, this weekend is the final days to pledge your support to Flying Buffalo Founder and President Richard Loomis’ Ace of Aces reprint project. It’s less than $1,000 away from its $25,000 goal.
