Today’s Comics Guide: Weekend Edition — Sept. 8-9, 2012

Saturday, September 8, and Sunday, September 9, 2012

Noted

Wonder Woman is back in development as a live-action TV series, this time on the CW Network. Although a pilot hasn’t been ordered at this time, initial plans call for the series, with a working title of Amazon, to more closely resemble its CW predecessor, Smallville, and focus on the character’s formative years.

Dark Horse will begin digital-only publication of a comics series based on the Jane Espenson and Brad Bell webseries Husbands. Espenson and Bell are writing the six-issue mini-series with art by Ron Chan. It’s scheduled to begin in October.
