Ray Sidman Posts: 1179	IDW Publishing has announced its latest foray into the Star Trek universe. *Star Trek: Alien Spotlight Series* will be a group of six one-shots, each featuring a different alien race from the Trek universe. Each story will be told from the aliens' perspective. Each issue will have its own creative team, with the first one having Scott Tipton and David Tipton writing and David Messina as artist. It will highlight The Gorn -- the reptilian race first seen in the original ST series in the episode titled "Arena." The Vulcans take center stage in the second issue, courtesy of writer James Patrick and artist Josep Maria Beroy. The third issue features The Andorians. Paul Storrie and Leonard O'Grady are the creative team on this one-shot. Then the Tiptons return to write about The Orions, with art by Elena Cassagrande. The fifth issue contains The Borgs as written by Andrew Steven Harris and drawn by Sean Murphy. Finally, comics veteran John Byrne writes and draws the sixth one shot, featuring The Romulans. The first issue of the monthly limited series hits stands in September.
